Small Business Advisory Councils
Small Business Advisory Council meetings are held in the local district offices of state elected Senate and Assembly Members. These meetings give small business owners an opportunity to discuss the issues that are affecting their small business and possible solutions to these issues with their elected Legislator. This opens a dialogue between small business and their elected officials. We currently hold meetings in 90 of the 120 California Legislative Districts.

Ca Small Business Day
California Small Business Day™ is the result of Assembly Resolution HR-57 that passed unanimously in 2000. The purpose of the day is to “Recognize the Contributions Small Business makes to California.” Since then we have had the joy of honoring over 1,500 small businesses in the state of California. The day brings small business leaders, legislators, and state agencies together to celebrate small business.
I would also like to have a slide show here with images from last year’s honorees. A link to a list of honorees would also be nice to have here. I don’t have one ready but I could easily create it. It would just have the district, business name, and an active link to the website through that business name.
